Another international premium brand, Maya Collection, is joining Petra Group’s projects.
MayaBay, already present in such prestigious destinations as Monaco, Dubai, Courchevel, and Porto Montenegro, will enter two of Petra Group’s projects in Georgia:
At Petra Sea Resort — in the MayaBay Beach Club format, adjacent to Pullman Hotel & Residences.
At Petra Ski Resort — in the MayaBay Restaurant format, within Swissôtel Hotel & Residences Gudauri.
About the Partnership
Maya Collection is entering the Georgian market with two distinct concepts at the same time. According to Maya Collection’s representative, Richard Maria, partnering with Petra Group was a natural choice, as it is one of the most significant development groups in Georgia. He notes that the main criterion in selecting a partner is the alignment of values and long-term vision — and that is precisely what Petra Group and Maya Collection found in one another.
According to Petra Group’s General Director, Tinatin Kalandarishvili, a successful resort today is no longer defined by its hotel or residences alone — guests are seeking a distinctive lifestyle, diverse experiences, gastronomy, and entertainment.
Petra Sea Resort is oriented toward a seaside lifestyle and summer tourism, where MayaBay Beach Club will be located adjacent to Pullman Hotel & Residences. In Gudauri, Maya Collection will be represented in the format of a MayaBay-branded restaurant, which will become one of the signature gastronomic venues at Swissôtel Hotel & Residences. MayaBay restaurants have been operating successfully for years in the French Alps — in Courchevel and Méribel.
Project Progress
Both projects are in an active phase of development. At Petra Sea Resort, construction is currently underway on six buildings, while international consultants are working on the design of MayaBay Beach Club, including the renowned French architect Sylvestre Murigneux. MayaBay Beach Club is expected to welcome its first guests in the summer of 2027. Development of Swissôtel Hotel & Residences Gudauri is also progressing actively.
This partnership not only adds a new gastronomic experience to Petra Group’s projects but also enhances their international recognition and investment value.
